Sow stall Heeswijk-Dinther

In Heeswijk-Dinther, a sow farm expanded itself in 2016 with pregnant sows in group housing. For the pregnant sows, optimum use of space with PigFree® backgates was chosen. The sow opens the box door outwards: this box is specially designed for more living space and maximum stall utilization. For two rows of boxes (length 210 cm, width 67 cm, including exit) a space of 620 cm wide is foreseen. The exit behind the boxes has a width of 200 cm.
